I wanted to write to say thank you for all that you've done for me and my friends this year. This has been by far the best year at Colby and that has been in large part due to living on Carroll Street. There was nothing better than waking up in a gorgeous house, surrounded by your friends, and carpooling to classes. That sentence doesn't really do it justice, but as I'm sure you know, it was such a cool experience.
I am so thankful to have gotten the chance to live in the Acadia house. I do not expect to live in a property that nice for many, many years–if ever. And I am so grateful to your family–especially to Tom–for all of your assistance over the course of our tenancy. You have been accommodating, attentive, understanding, fair and kind. And I understand that those characteristics are not necessarily indicative of all landlords. In fact, I understand that those characteristics are quite rare. So for all of your help, guidance and generosity, I thank you.

I want to take this opportunity to thank you for allowing our daughter to live the past two years at a Colby Castle. I believe I speak for all of the parents when I say that we appreciate all that you do making sure that the girls have a safe, attractive and fully functioning place to live. I speak directly for my daughter when I say that her experience at Colby was positive in so many ways, and in no small measure it was was a result of the fantastic living situation that she has during her junior and senior years.

Living in Acadia was such a great experience. I learned so much about my self, how to live with other people, how to take care of myself, and while it was terrifying at points, in the end it was so worth it to see how much I had grown from when I first moved in. And it should go with out saying, but I had a great time doing it. Our house was a cozy, quiet place to come back to after a long day of classes, work, and practice, a social gathering place for my team, and perfect for other after hour college demands. 3 Carroll Street will forever hold a special place in my heart along with the memories made there. Thank you so much for making it the perfect living space and allowing me to call it home for a year.

From the minute we walked into the house in the fall, we knew that we would have a great year. Nearly everything was provided, questions were promptly answered, and precautions were given when necessary. There was never a moment when we felt unsafe in our house, and I think that the other Castle residents on Carroll would agree. Your rent emails were always thorough in that they provided exact utility costs with photocopied/attached bills from the companies themselves. I had a wonderful experience that I will never forget. I am tearing up as I write this just thinking about the fact that I will never get to go back to the house that I considered my home for almost a year. I have many fond memories that I will cherish, and I deeply thank you for allowing these memories to exist. Thank you for all you did to make this house safe, clean, functional, and comfortable for all of us.

I would just like to let Colby students know that a Colby Castle is exactly what it sounds like. Carroll Street is a fairy tale land half way between Colby's campus and downtown Waterville with a block of houses fit for royalty. I could not have chosen a better living arrangement for my senior year. The houses were comfortable, well kept and great for hanging out or entertaining. I would go back to Colby for another year just to live in Camden house again.

The blue hill house absolutely made our senior year and we loved every second of living in the house. You were super helpful and responsive all year and made the transition from living in a dorm to a house super easy. One of my fondest memories from senior year will always be the Blue Hill House and my only regret is not living in one of your houses sooner! Thanks so much for a fabulous year and I wish you all the best in the future!

This year has been absolutely spectacular. We have felt so safe and so lucky living in the Blue Hill house. Not only is the home outstandingly beautiful and well equipped (furniture and appliances) but you have helped us with everything, maintenance, questions and issues. We are so, so sad to leave!

Thank you so much for providing us with such amazing housing at Colby. The houses weren't only beautiful, but the care and attentiveness you gave made my Colby experience exponentially more memorable. I can't imagine having lived anywhere else and I'll miss it this year. I wish I was moving back into 4 Carroll Street next month! Good luck with the new tenants and enjoy the rest of the summer.

Our experience at the Acadia house was amazing!! The space is homey and comfortable with privacy for individual residents but also with plenty of nice, open rooms to hang out in together. The porch/lawn area, which we named our Outdoor Living Room, is where we spent most of spring semester and is perfect for doing homework or just relaxing when it's nice out! The landlords are awesome and whenever we had any sort of issue with the house at all they were so incredibly helpful and made sure to do whatever they could to make the house run smoothly. For some of us this was our second time renting a Colby Castle and for others it was the first - and all of us agree that of you want to live off campus the Colby Castles are definitely the best choice!!

Living at 23 West has been the capstone to an amazing senior year. We could not have asked for a more wonderful place to call home, or for more caring and conscientious landlords. Everything about this experience has been fantastic, and we wish we had another year to enjoy it!

Living at the house has been a highlight of our Colby experiences. When our parents came to visit for parent's weekend, they could not stop raving about how gorgeous the house is. Justin was even kind enough to drop off some flowers to welcome our parents. Sleeping in a full-size, comfortable bed has been a delightful change from Colby twin mattresses. Cooking in the beautiful kitchen beats Dana dining hall any day. The comfortable couches and big screen tv have made our friends jealous. This will probably be the nicest house we ever live in...

Just wanted to give you a heads up that the security system/door beep is awesome! Last night we accidently left the front door unlocked and it blew open from the wind. The alarm woke us up and Waterville police came to make sure no one was inside. Good to know if someone actually ever was to break in we'd be all set. Additionally, Waterville police commented on how nicely decorated the house is! So thanks for that!
